The Modern Culinarian was born out of necessity. As a private chef and food stylist, I struggled to find chef coats that were both stylish and well-made. Being petite yet curvy, most options were either oversized or didn’t accommodate my bust and hips—leaving me feeling restricted and uninspired in my own kitchen.

I wanted a chef coat that made me feel as bold and beautiful as the dishes I created. So, I took matters into my own hands. I sketched my vision, enlisted a fashion designer friend, and together, we sourced premium fabrics and trims to bring my idea to life. When I debuted my sleek, peplum-style chef coat at a dinner party, I felt confident, empowered, and truly seen. The compliments and inquiries poured in, and I realized, I wasn’t alone. If I needed this, so did countless other women in the culinary industry.

And just like that, The Modern Culinarian was born.
